2016 was the 5th year we have exhibited at the Buy Yorkshire conference held at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds. Not only is it the largest exhibition held in Yorkshire but the idea that the conference is built around is “We are stronger together”. This is something that runs very close to our hearts at Ascensor as we believe that teamwork is key to any business.
Members of the sales and marketing team visited the event to promote our brand, discuss services and how we could help their businesses grow with the exhibition goers. We took our striking stand with a brand new Ascensor Air panel printed specially for the event. We also had three new video’s showcasing both the new Ascensor and Ascensor Air websites with other videos of recent websites running in between. We found this to be a very effective way to represent what we do at Ascensor.
There were over 5000 registered delegates to the event; with 87% percent of those catalogued had marked themselves as a decision maker in their delegate profile. It was great to see some old faces (another year next to Lamont Jones), current clients and many prospective clients and potential business partners. We asked exhibition goers to take part in our survey to find out how many Yorkshire businesses have a mobile friendly website.
With 2 exhibition halls, 185 exhibitor stands and more than 20 industry experts giving lectures and seminars over the 2 days Buy Yorkshire has always been a great way for us to network, learn and build relationships.
