Otter Drysuits are now into their second month of the SEO competition prize, won at last year’s Bradford Business Conference.

The second month’s reports show even more positive results which we’re really pleased about, here are some of the highlights!
Backlinks: There has been an increase in the number of backlinks into drysuits.co.uk. Backlinks are one of the most important features of your website that Google looks at when determining how highly to rank your pages. It’s not as simple as the page with the most backlinks wins; Google looks at the strength of those links too and to some degree how relevant they are. The increase in the number of strong backlinks has contributed to the rise in positions for some of the keywords.
Traffic: In the last month there has been a huge 52% increase in the level of traffic visiting the Otter Drysuits website, this is great to see and illustrates that our marketing activity is working well!

As you can see there are some great results! In particular, the keyword ‘neoprene drysuit’ has climbed an additional 4 places and is now sitting at number 3 in Google; similarly, the keyword ‘drysuit repairs’ has made its debut on page 1 by climbing 9 positions.
