Last week one of our nominated charities Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice launched their latest campaign, encouraging everybody to do One Good Thing in 2013.
The idea behind the One Good Thing campaign is a simple one, asking people to do just one good thing to support this wonderful charity through fundraising or supporting their stores by donating items that can be sold on; many small actions combining together to make a big difference.
For our ‘good thing’ we’ve collected together donations that people have brought in from home and we will be dropping them off at one of the Forget Me Not stores next week.
Our support for Forget Me Not is on-going; last year the Ascensor team got involved with a number of initiatives, we’re proud to be part of the 99er scheme and we also provide fully inclusive web design services to support their fundraising efforts.
The most recent web developments include creating an online version of the Celebration Wall (where donations and messages are displayed), making more areas of the website content managed so content can be updated more easily and regularly and most importantly we have updated the website so it’s now possible to make donations online - making it easier than ever to support this amazing charity!
