There is a new funding stream available to businesses looking to grow through digital technology that will provide up to £5,000 towards website development and digital marketing.
It’s been a while since there was a funding stream available to support businesses in investing in their online activities, the new fund that will be available from January will fund up to 40% of website development and digital marketing project costs. Vouchers range from £1,000 to £5,000 and need to be matched by funding from the business.
The government have realised that businesses that invest in digital technology are leading the UK economy, they are growing faster, employing bigger teams and contributing more to the economy
The eligibility criteria are:
• The business is over 12 months old (there is another start-up fund, ask for details)
• It is based within the Leeds region (covers Leeds, Harrogate, Bradford, York, Wakefield and wider, contact us for details)
• It employs less than 250 people
• It mainly supplies products and services to businesses (B2B)
• The funding will lead to growth
Are you eligible?
If you are looking to grow your business by investing in digital technology then it is likely that your business is eligible.
Measures of growth can include an increase in staff members, an increase in turnover and an increase in market share, as a direct result of the planned investment.
The fund will provide a 40% rebate upon payment of the invoice.
If you required a project that costs £2,500, the grant could provide £1,000 towards the costs of the project. If the project is £12,500 then the fund could provide £5,000 towards the cost.

What type of projects does the fund cover?
The fund covers any investment in digital (online) technology including website design, website development and digital marketing.
Provided the investment will lead to growth then it is likely that the funding will be applicable.
