What does it involve?

To celebrate all things Yorkshire and to raise money for the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, we have decided to cook a BBQ for our neighbours. The BBQ will take place on the 29th July 2016 at around midday ahead of Yorkshire Day. We have put together a basic menu and we’re asking all of our neighbours if they would like a burger or hot dog delivering to them on the 29th July. We’re going to be asking for £2 minimum donations (but feel free to give more) to the hospice as we deliver the food (or feel free to join us at Ascensor).

The Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice

Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice supports over 185 local children with life shortening conditions and their families in West Yorkshire but there are over 1,300 children and families in West Yorkshire who could benefit from Forget Me Not’s care and support. You can read some of the children’s stories who are supported by Forget Me Not to acknowledge the outstanding work they do.

How to get involved…

If you are close to Ascensor in Birstall and would like us to cook for you then please let me know ([email protected]). Ascensor will be buying the food, and all donations will be given to the hospice – we will need to take orders in advance to make sure we get enough food, it would be great if you can place your order before Wednesday 27th July 2016.

If you are not based near us but would still like to make a donation to Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, please feel free to contact me on the above email as any donations are welcome and greatly appreciated by the hospice.
