Celebrating 10 Years of Digital Excellence in 2017

Yay, it’s our Birthday!

If you haven't seen your invite, email us for details, you don't want to miss the magician and the table tennis competition.

But you may have seen on our social media that we are greedy and have decided to have 12 months of celebrations.

As we sit back and reflect on a decade that has been, there are a couple of achievements we are really proud of; back in 2007, after three years of hard work, we moved into our premises in Birstall. When we raised over £50l for local charities through various events and subsidised work. And, building a reputation that now allows us to work for global PLC’s as well as many small and start-up businesses.

To mark the occasion, as a team, we have decided to carry out ten challenges over the course of the next year. With the added incentive of fundraising for several different charities, which have been nominated by individual members of staff.

These challenges include:

Gung Ho (Completed 20/05/17)

A 5km running event complete with inflatable obstacle course and waterslide on 20th May in Temple Newsam, Leeds

Yorkshire Warrior (Completed 16/09/2017)

A 10km obstacle course in the stunning grounds of Ripley Castle. The course saw the Warriors take on; mountains of mud, slimy water, slippery slides, barbed wire, electric fencing, log carrying, sand bag carrying and more!

5km Colour Run – (Completed 30/09/2017)

Along this 5km course, instead of obstacles, we will be met by five different colour stations where we will be showered head to toe in clouds of powdered paint.

Abbey Dash 10k –  (Completed 05/11/2017)

This is one of the most iconic running events in Leeds. Starting off by Leeds Train Station, competitors will dash up Kirkstall road up to the Abbey, before turning around and heading back towards the city centre to complete the 10k.

TBC – March 2017

Bike Relay – March 2017

By setting up a stationary bike in the office, we are going to see how far we as a team can cycle during our normal office hours, 9am-5.30pm.

Yorkshire Three Peaks – April 2017

This event will see the team tackling the Three highest peaks in the Yorkshire Dales; Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, in under 12 hours.

Leeds Half Marathon – May 2017

As if we a 10k run wasn’t enough, some of the team have opted to tackle the Leeds Half Marathon. Joining 9000 other participants, we will be running/waddling/crawling 13miles (21km) from the City of Leeds, out to the Ring Road and back to finish by Millennium Square.

Total Warrior Leeds – June 2017

Yorkshire Warrior will seem like a jog in the park compared to what’s in store for the team when they head to Braham Park for Total Warrior. With 30 punishing obstacles, 10 tons of ice and 100 tons of mud, our team will be glad for the free beer at the end!

National Three Peaks – July 2017

Saving the toughest till last, this challenge will see members of the team scale the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales in under 24 hours. Starting with Ben Nevis, followed by Scafell Pike and ending on the infamous Snowden.

‘In our fast-paced industry, every day is different, technology drives continuous change and the opportunity to work in such a flexible environment is a true pleasure. It is great to be surrounded by such an amazing team and clients, the last ten years have flown by, here’s to the next 10!’ – Andrew Firth, Director.
