7th Video marketing

Businesses usually recoil in horror at the idea of making a company video. For the most part, this is because they think about all the hard work and the investment to ensure that a high-quality video is made. This is no longer a concern. You no longer need to expensive equipment and paid actors to make a professional business video. As humans, are more likely to engage with a video than we are with simple text because we are visual. If you do not have some sort of business video, you are definitely missing out on potentially huge opportunity.

8th Informal Content

If you’re writing content in a natural, conversational tone then you’re speaking your customers language - the language they use in voice search. The websites that are seen to be adapting to the voice search are the ones incorporating voice-search strategies for both typing users and talking ones

9th Personalised UX

Customers are more likely to return to a site that recommends products using simple customer data such as account details and shopping history. Using this data, you can build a personalised User Experience with personalised products and recommendations. There’s even more to be said for personalised emails that hit the right note with customers. All they need to have is very simple email features like customer name greetings, content segmentation and personalised email subject lines.

10th QA Formatting

It is worth devoting a whole landing page that answers a single question, as well as attempting to incorporate actual FAQ’s or even FAQ-style content onto your pages. With the growing popularity of voice search, people are not searching using isolated keywords, but using complete sentences to answer their questions.

11th Live video is taking over

Marketers and customers are jumping on the Live Video train. In a 2016 survey, over 80% said they want to create more video content, and 42% specifically wanted to create more live video. This is because Facebook video sees an average of 135% more organic reach than images. This engagement is through the roof for live video as well. According to Facebook, social media users spend 3 times more time watching live videos than a video that’s no longer live. They also comment more than 10 times more during the live stream.

12th Virtual Assistants/Chatbots

AI chatbots are already helping providers with everything from referral management to team building. Think of Chatbots as apps that provide customer care. They are usually built in messenger apps such as Facebook that recently introduced its Chatbot program and has gained massive popularity very quickly. They are popular among marketers and users alike for many reasons – They are Mobile Optimised, they ensure consistent Social Media marketing, they provide real-time updates and they guarantee optimal customer satisfaction as they are available 24/7 making the clients feel valuable throughout the whole ordeal.
