Ascensor went on the road for the first time and we exhibited at a small B2B expo in York. In preparation we developed a new portfolio (click to view) showcasing some of our latest projects. This initial run out with the equipment was a great success, we'll be keeping news updated with all forthcoming exhibitions as and when they happen.

Ascensor welcome Laura Peaker to our sales team. Laura will be providing much needed support to our sales staff ensuring that we can continue to take a proactive approach and work with our clients on a monthly basis.

A project close to our hearts has been the Maximum Sports Nutrition retail project that began just after their store opened in Harrogate last summer. Having completed the first phase of the site before Christmas we have been working hard to develop strong search engine positions, and today’s SEO report demonstrated how quickly we have been able to deliver significant visitor levels in only five months in what is a highly competitive environment.

Like all forms of move we encountered some glitches (mainly to do with a certain telephone provider) and struggled using dongles for our internet for a few days, but the dust has settled (literally) and we have resumed normality. All customers and prospects are welcome to visit our new offices, just drop in. We will also be organising an open day in the summer.

We are pleased to announce our move into larger premises. Conveniently located off M62 Junction 27 close to the retail park.

For the last 3 months we have been working on a Advanced Print Calculator for our client Aura Print, and it’s now been live for over 1 month. Aura’s clients are delivered accurate print prices in seconds based on a complex calculator and comparison device developed in-house by Ascensor.  We are now looking forward to phase 2 of this project which includes SEO and additional calculators.

After a well earned break we are back and raring to go, with 2 months new client design work already signed up and a new office move next month we are busier than ever! Happy New Year to all of our valued clients, we look forward to continuing to serve you with excellent web work and SEO throughout 2010.

After a fantastic year of growth it’s time to say goodbye to 2009 and take a break before we come back to a manic start to 2010 with 4 new retail projects in the pipeline for completion in February. As a big thank you to the team we are having our Christmas Dinner at Jongleurs Comedy Club in Leeds.

Ascensor donated a 3 page website to Monday nights Hollybank Trust charity auction at Headingly stadium as part of Red Media's contribution to this amazing charity, and raised £225 towards helping handicapped children in Yorkshire. The black tie evening was attended by more than 300 people and was a huge success. We are looking forward to continuing to support Hollybank in the years to come.

Ascensor proudly sponsored Junior Male Sportsperson of the year at the annual Reporter Series Sports Awards in Batley.


 Winner Mohamed Ali, a boxer from the Cleckheaton Boxing Academy won the award after a fantastic year in the ring.



Harry Gration hosted the event that awarded the fantastic sporting talent in the Kirklees region.

We have been working extremely hard on the Yorkshire Golfer project that went live last month and the team at Yorkshire Golfer have been actively recruiting clubs to join the program. We have been asked to add more features to the site next year and also develop and manage the pro shop through Ascensor Logistics from summer 2010.

We are happy to welcome a new team member, Jason Swann, into the marketing team.  Jason assists our marketing team with all of the background work that we put in to each search engine optimisation project, ensuring our clients benefit from a structured strategic approach, designed to deliver results and quick progress up the search indexes.

Working with Horbury based marketing company Digital Screen Media who promote and raise awareness of prestigious local businesses, the campaign is designed to target business owners who could be increasing their business revenues with Ascensor's online growth strategy.
