Ascensor had a large stand at the Yorkshire Business Market yesterday, an exhibition that's been growing steadily over the last 7 years.
This year there were more than 150 exhibitors spread across 4 halls, a strong cross section of Yorkshire based businesses including solicitors, accountants and printers, to name a few.
There were a couple of other Web Design and Search Engine Marketing companies exhibiting, but no Ecommerce specialists. We work really well with other agencies, and represent more than 10 in our local area, providing white label products that give them a greater service offering.
The Ascensor space comprised 2 banner stands, a printed desk unit and table display. We played our latest show reeland handed our copies of our latest brochure, as well as giving branded pads, pens and mints to the visitors.
This year we were giving away a bottle of 2002 Vintage Moet & Chandon champagne and a pack of 2 bottles of wine to the winners of our prize draw, selected at random from business cards collected on the day.

This was the first exhibition for Laura Peaker (Sales) and Natalie Sykes (Marketing) who quickly got into the spirit and opportunity that shows like this provide.
Overall the exhibition was a great success, we picked up more than 10 good prospects, and many more contacts, but as always it's the follow up that counts, which of course is well underway.
We are looking for more opportunities to get out on the road and meet potential clients looking to generate more business through their website and we are planning several more exhibitions this year, watch this space.
