Ascensor Trekking the Inca Trail

This September Ascensor Director Andrew Firth will be walking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu to raise money for The Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.

The charity based in Huddersfield, support children who are terminally ill with life-limiting conditions and their families and currently support more than 90 families across the west Yorkshire region. The charity needs to raise over £3million every year to continue to provide the support and care that the families need. As well as running a state of the art facility the hospice also cares for children and families in their homes.

Forget Me Not Trust

For the last four years the Ascensor team have supported the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice by providing probono and heavily subsidised web development work and through fundraising that has included canoeing round Loch Ness in 2 days, team marathon running and last year eight of us raised over £1,400 by completing the Yorkshire Tough Mudder. This year we aim to raise at least £3,500 through various events, initiatives and client contributions and then in September Andrew will complete the trek.

You are able to access our Just Giving page for the event by clicking here and hope that you will kindly make a donation to such a worthy cause.
