The Ascensor London operation is in full swing with new contacts being made daily. It is thanks in most parts to joining BNI Infinity in Canary Wharf, where we launched officially on the 12th October after a huge visitor day. Our goal is to have 50 members by Christmas and within 2 weeks of launch we topped 30, with new applications being processed weekly. In the past 2 weeks BNI has yielded 5 referrals of which one has turned into an order and confidence is high for 2 of the others. Our new venue is stunning, right in the heart of the City. Tompkins restaurant is the perfect setting for our business breakfasts, the food is amazing and the atmosphere exudes a professional air, we wouldn’t expect anything less for the group that is officially the fastest growing in BNI.

Other networking has included several Chamber events, though these have been sparser through the summer. The next few months will see an increase in attendances as we look to maximise our membership before it’s reviewed next year.

The Great British Business Show is looming and preparations are well underway. The stand design is almost complete, sneak previews available here as soon as it is. We have also been offered a second seminar where ‘Making Ecommerce Pay’ is the subject that will be presented on both the Thursday and Friday. The stand space is one of the largest available at the show and visitors will experience the ease of use of the Ascensor Liquid™ Content Management System as well as enter a prize draw to win 3 months Search Engine Optimisation from our new SEO Demystified service. 2 monitors will showcase our design and development capabilities and we have some great promotional gifts to give away.

A great opportunity has arisen for Ascensor, we have been provisionally offered the UK rights to a leading Digital Publication software product. The opportunity has come about through making good contacts in London and we have already had our first sale to a Northern client with another in the pipeline. We haven’t officially launched the product yet but were very excited about the chance to get involved with digital graphic design, without the need for print.

New clients are coming on board regularly and the project for Quantium Consulting is almost complete, when it is we will be able to further demonstrate the high end product we can provide to businesses based in the South, at Northern prices.
