Towards the end of 2014, Ascensor were named as an approved advisor on a government funding scheme which allows us to provide up to £2000 match funding towards digital consultancy. Thanks to this Government funding we have been able to help more than 40 businesses to benefit from up to £2k of funding towards our services since the funding stream was opened.

As a result of the quality of the digital consultancy that Ascensor has provided under this scheme, we have recently been named in a government study ‘The report on small firms 2010-2015’. The report was prepared by Lord Young, the Prime Minister’s advisor on enterprise and draws together recommendations and outputs from Lord Young’s papers on small firms and enterprise as well as some of the wider developments that have raised ambition about enterprise and enabled entrepreneurs to build successful businesses.

Our work with Halifax based Allied Vehicle Contracts (Allied Ventura) has been recognised in the study (page 40). Through providing £2000 worth of match funded work, we helped AVC to generate significant growth in the online presence of their new website. In all Ascensor have helped more than 40 Yorkshire based businesses to access the government funding to contribute towards their services since the funding stream was opened.
