October 4th 2012
1 week, 2 exhibitions
We’ve had a very busy week or so out on the road and have met many of our Yorkshire based clients and also some great new prospects.
We kicked off with Kirklees Business Week – the first of its kind organised by Hillrich, the organiser of the Kirklees Business Conference. KBC has been running for 5 years and has grown in stature each year, this year the conference was added to by a week of seminars and activities in Huddersfield, designed to bring Yorkshire businesses together.
On Wednesday the 26th September Ascensor’s MD, Andrew Firth, hosted Going Local: Getting Ahead on Google Places. The seminar was well received and feedback was that the talk was educational and informative; we hope the delegates are now putting their new found knowledge to good work.
The following day was Kirklees Business Conference at the John Smiths Stadium. Ascensor had a stand at the exhibition, the visitor quality was excellent and great contacts were made. The conference was supported by first rate speakers and feedback was excellent.
Then this week, on the 3rd October it was the Brand Yorkshire Conference held at the Pavillions of Harrogate. Ascensor are BiY members and provide support through Brand Yorkshire to members looking to grow. The exhibition was busy and we were able to make many new contacts outside of our immediate area and also catch up with old friends from the region.
All in all a very busy week of meeting, greeting and discussing new opportunities.
Ascensor are next exhibiting at the Barnsley Business Conference on the 25th October.
